Welcome to the first part of the “Top Internet Marketing Blogs” series, a series in which I’ll be sharing with you blogs I read that have allowed me to flourish and see real results make money online. Each of the blogs I mention have allowed me to learn new skills and given me the mentality needed to make money online. So without further ado, here’s your reading for the week.
Readers always look for contents and topics that are very useful to them. Those that are not are useless. That is why in creating blogs topics should not be pertinent long time ago. It should always be fresh! It should always be pertinent in the present times. Yet, no matter how we consider our blogs as fresh after a few days or weeks they are already overripe. Thus, blogs should always be updated for readers to keep coming back. This could be an avenue for you to invite them to visit your site. More to that, the more traffic you can get in your new project, the faster you can build your list.
Keep everyone informed. This is actually the easiest part when it comes to your online reputation. Most online review sites will allow you to take ownership of your review page so that you can receive email alerts whenever something changes. Make sure all the decision makers get copied on these alerts immediately, it will bring a lot of urgency to the process. And when changes or communication is made, cc the decision makers again so they know what’s going on. The worst thing that can happen is the owner get a call and not be prepared for it.
Blogs can be journalism. They can be political commentary. They can be personal diaries or journals. They can also be way for you to show your uniqueness and build a conversation around your business and professional interests. That is how I use mine.
There are two points at which you should sell your business/project; selling before you have to and if you get bored. The reason being is because selling a project when you online blogs need to means you’re likely to be desperate and under pressure. This leads to bad decision making and results in you either selling a project/business that you didn’t want to, or receiving less money that originally planned. By selling in advance you free yourself up, less problems arise and you will feel more comfortable.
OMake sure that your customers know that your blog exists. Providing some targeted advertising on the Internet is not hard. Try some link exchange programs with web sites, blogs, and ezines that have similar content to your blog. In many cases, simply providing a link to another web site can convince that web master to provide a link to your blog.
There are many other important tips that I did not mention here, simply because there are too many. If you are really serious about becoming rich you should go out there and learn more! There are plenty of resources online and offline.
