If you are like most brides you have been looking forward to your wedding day since you were 10. You have probably imagined your perfect dress, your perfect cake and walking down the aisle with your perfect person too. There is no question every bride wants her wedding to be an unforgettable day, a magical time, and a perfect event that will inspire your guests to weep tears of joy. But how do you achieve this perfection? Well, it certainly helps to start with inspiration. Here are a few tips to figure out your wedding style.
Recently I converted an old garden shed into a hen house. Most of the time, the project went well but every now and again I got stuck. What I needed then was some follow me to lead me naturally to an elegant solution.
Well, here goes. I paid $1.00, a nominal fee donated to Feed the Children for my two-week ‘Test Drive’. Full of anticipation, I went directly to the site, a beautifully designed group of pages, the Training Section boasting a collection of motivational videos by the likes of Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, and Les Brown, among others. Unfortunately, the Marketing Skills pages had not been completed, nor had many of the remaining areas, with a related announcement that these would be completed in about a week. How well does it work when you feel you ‘should’ give up smoking, ‘should’ lose weight, ‘should’ drink less or ‘should’ exercise more, when you don’t really want to? The problem with T motivation is that the motivator needs to be crystal clear. It is easy when you have a specific destination that you want to go (for holiday) and that makes it more achievable (assuming you have the right resources). Now, this can easily become an AF motivation because all you really want to achieve is to go away from your current location and be somewhere else instead.
Plan for Busy Days – The first step off the weight loss wagon often occurs when life gets busy. Plan for distractions and busy days. Keep work out videos at home for those days when you just don’t make it to the gym.
Motivation doesn’t work. Zig Ziggler says “motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” You can get yourself highly motivated and charged up but not accomplish anything because motivation will only get you excited and charged up. Being excited won’t help you accomplish your dreams. Getting yourself all charged up won’t do it either.
True motivation can be exciting. It fills you with enthusiasm and anticipation. You bounce out of bed every morning eager to go. Each new day is a new adventure to you. And indeed you can sustain motivation for as long as you want, as long as you try. Remember that motivation depends mainly on two things: emotions and imagination. Your emotions fire your feelings, and give you the urge to continue, and your imagination helps stoke the fire.
