Indeed, blog s have become powerful online marketing tools in this day and age. Blogs, you see, have evolved into a social phenomenon. How many movies have you watched where the techno-savvy protagonist was seen updating her blog? How many books have you read that used share your question as a new point of perspective? How many news items have you encountered that trace their source to blog entries? How many television shows have you witnessed that made a casual reference to blogs?
Research shows that over 70% of businesses are operating without business plans; in fact, the statistics is even higher when it comes to online businesses, blogging included. I bet you are also guilty of this. It is an established fact that a requisite for success in business is a plan. Now if a plan is a recipe for business success, why are most bloggers blogging without it? Well, I think that’s a question you should answer yourself. Drawing up a plan for your blog is not compulsory but if you are serious about treating your blog as a business; then I will advice you put up a plan for your blog.
Choose an Online Directory that is established and reputable and features hotels where you intend to travel. Check carefully with the better business bureau and online blogs and forums whether there are any problems with the Online Hotel Directory and if it is well liked.
Whenever you write a post, I highly recommend that you send your content on the majore social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. This gets your post published on the social media sites, as well. From there, encourage your friends or followers to share, like, or comment on these posts. The more Likes, Google+’s, shares, and retweets you get, the more the search engines will recognize your content. Plus, you get back links to your blog, which increases your authority.
You can market and promote your products to your visitors from time to time. These products can be either digital or physical products. However, they must be related to your blogs’ topic. As your audiences are targeted audiences, it’s easier to sell them the products related to your blogs’ topic.
All the industries will have a set of bloggers including the industry that you write about. Ensure that you participate in the discussions on other relevant blogs. By doing this, you will make yourself visible and the other bloggers from the industry will visit your posts and comment on them as well.
